1. Registration
When you are interested in our services, simply fill out the contact page, send an email or WhatsApp, or call us, and we will explain everything you need to know.

2. Payment

2.1 Payment for the courses has to be made in advance via bank transfer. The registration is final from the moment the payment is made.
2.2 The standard fee for the courses is 45€ for a single lesson, 200€ for 5 lessons, and 350€ for 10 lessons. However, in some cases, Smilingua may offer a discount on the fee. The discount may apply to a specific student and/or a specific course period or discount period, and no rights can be derived from it.
2.3 Purchased courses are valid for 6 months.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 If the student cancels the lesson:

Private lessons are generally scheduled at the same time, which can be individually agreed upon with the teacher. You can only change your appointment after mutual agreement with the teacher. You can cancel your lesson up to 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the lesson will be considered as completed. The cancellation request must be sent directly to the teacher.
Although you can cancel the lesson up to 24 hours in advance, we would appreciate it if you could inform us of any changes as early as possible so we can reorganize our day. If you are unable to attend a lesson due to planned vacations or other reasons, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make the necessary adjustments.

3.2 If the teacher cancels the lesson:

If the teacher is unable to teach due to unforeseen circumstances and no substitute teacher is available, the canceled lesson will be rescheduled in consultation with the student.

4. Responsibility

4.1 If the student is under 18 years old, he/she must provide a written statement signed by their adult guardian, in which the guardian gives consent for the student to participate in the course and declares that they take full responsibility and liability for the student.
4.2 It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the internet and required devices are functioning properly. If a lesson cannot be conducted due to the student's internet and/or devices not working properly, no refund will be given.
4.3 It is the student's responsibility to invest the necessary time to achieve the expected results. Smilingua takes no responsibility if the intended results are not achieved.
